Hi, I’m Kelli!
Hey there! I’m Kelli, a wife, and mom blessed with 4 kiddos and all about learning and growth! By trade, I am an elementary school teacher, where I spent 6 years between 4th and 5th grades as a language arts teacher. After my classroom career, I found a home in the enablement sphere where I helped companies transform their learning content into engaging micro lessons. During my 5.5 years working in adult education, I proofread and edited content, created training for teams, organized meetings, collaborated with teams to improve processes and training, and embraced time management skills while also mentoring teammates. In addition to this, I homeschool those 4 beautiful babies of mine. Learning is at the heart of what I do!
I also offer creative consulting for small and medium-sized businesses.
I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in special education from Indiana State University. After student teaching, I worked in a variety of settings with a variety of students ranging from 4th to 7th grade. My experience resides mostly in language arts. While teaching, I learned collaboration with a partner teacher and how to lead and manage a classroom of 25-35 students.
Those skills aided my transition into the enablement field where I built lessons for customers, participated in team discussions, and proofread and edited projects. As my career progressed, I provided constructive feedback to teammates, validated and assigned projects based on availability, sent final projects off for approval, updated metrics using Google Sheets and Excel, collaborated with a peer to lead meetings, worked to improve image processes, maintained internal onboarding, and ran team building initiatives to boost morale and camaraderie.
In addition to working full time, I homeschool my beautiful children which has enabled some creative time management skills, problem-solving abilities, and of course all the organization skills you can muster. I lead with a servant’s heart and love working as a team.
